How to judge a pair of speakers?
Speakers as audio terminal equipment, just like people's voice determines the quality of a set of sound to a great extent. It is no exaggeration to say that choosing a pair of good speakers is the key to the success of a set of sound. Throughout the market, there are many kinds of audio, such as portable speakers, plug-in speakers, small speakers, computer speakers, Bluetooth speakers, mobile karaoke audio, etc. the quality is uneven, and the price is very different, so we should have a "golden eye" in the choice of audio. Just like the traditional Chinese medicine "look, smell, ask, cut", before listening, we can use "view, weigh, knock, recognize" to have a preliminary understanding of the speaker, that is, one view of the technology, two weigh, three knock box, four recognize the name plate. We can start from the following aspects:
1. View craft
It is to judge the sound box quality from the appearance. The sound box made of natural logs is often of good quality.
2. Weigh up
There is a saying in the sound industry that "the experts see the quality and the laymen weigh the weight". A heavy speaker is definitely better than a light one. Good speakers are mostly made of 18 mm, 25 mm high-quality MDF particle board, * flagship speakers are made of red sandalwood, yellow pomelo and other overweight solid wood or multi-layer composite plywood, so the weight is amazing, a pair of speakers net weight is up to 50 kg or 60 kg. Poor quality speakers are mostly made of soft particleboard or even inferior paper glue board, so the weight is generally light. In addition, some bad businesses will also take advantage of this habit of consumers, pouring sand and stone cement into the box to increase weight, weighing must be careful.
3. Knock the box
If the baffle plates of the box body are knocked by hand, the sound will sound solid and slightly brittle on all sides. The plate used in the box body is hard and thick, with multiple stiffeners inside. The structure of the box body is reasonable and solid, with good sound insulation and anti standing wave measures. This kind of box body has high processing cost, great difficulty, and few fake and inferior products. If the sound of "poof, poof" is made by knocking on the box, it means that the plate is too thin, the quality of the material is too poor, the structure is unreasonable, and there is no sound-absorbing material or stiffener in the box, resulting in the formation of a large number of diffuse reflection and standing wave in the box. This kind of sound box can never achieve good playback effect.
4. Brand recognition
Mark * the speaker attaches great importance to brand image and enterprise popularity, so the label on the nameplate is very standard and exquisite, and there are all kinds of indicators, enterprise name and origin. A really good speaker has a well-made gold-plated or chrome plated name plate, which is usually engraved with a distinctive trademark, company, name, origin, corresponding indicators, etc. Imported cases are available in English. If there is only one design or only one country's name vaguely marked, even in addition to a few simple and very imprecise basic indicators, neither the place of origin nor the trademark of the manufacturer can be seen, and there is no registered mark, most of these three no products are suspected of counterfeiting and shoddy.
